Now, if you’re up for an adventure for a true Russian experience, pack up the family and take the short drive up to Austin, Texas! Located right downtown Austin, is the Russian House.
All of the chefs here are of Eastern European decent, including executive chef Vladimir Gribkov. Offering dishes like Blini (Russian crepes), Beef Stroganoff, Shashlik (kebabs), homemade sauerkraut, and their signature dish… Homemade Russian Pelmeni that is minced meat of your choice, beef/pork/veal/turkey/elk/lamb/wild boar, wrapped in thin dough and served in a herb butter sauce.
If that is not enough to get you down to the Russian House, how about the 75 house infused vodkas? Using only organic fruits and vegetables to flavor their vodkas, they are sure to have one for everyone’s palate. Russia House also offers live music events every week.
